Martin Phiri to visit in the U.S.
Greetings, I hope this finds you and your families doing well.
We are fine here in Kenya and the work of God continues to increase here. Our unity in Kenya is taking shape and is also growing rapidly.
We now come together in fellowships, share pulpits and we know that with time our churches here in Kenya will embrace each other for the sake of unity and the future of our churches and the next generation to come. We want to thank you for the great work of the World Convention. We appreciate your continued prayers for us here.
I am planning to be in the U.S. in the month of July through mid August because a lady from a church in Virginia has helped raise funds for my ticket. She has asked me to do a presentation in their congregation to see if they can be of help.
I am looking for friends and churches to help me raise funds to complete a school block in a one time contribution effort. We hope to convert the school block into a boarding section for the school. This building has been incomplete for the last 7 years. My main aim is to raise $30,000 to complete this work. I know God can even speak to one person to give this amount. I will be coming because each dollar given will count.
I am sending you more pictures of the of the school, and also of a few students who live within the compound and attend our school. Our Harvest View school has been in the forefront to help support orphans and children coming from
very poor background. We offer to such children accommodation in our school, but the place they sleep in is pathetic. We have killed snakes in their rooms when rain starts falling. The houses are made of Iron sheets which are too cold at night.
Once complete, the building will accommodate 240 children – with God all things are possible! Invitations and provision has been made to visit three churches in Virginia and one in Colorado. I would be happy to visit any others interested in Harvest View in July through the middle of August.
In Christ, Martin
